The Macomb Board of Commissioners is accepting applications to fill five vacancies on the Macomb County Community Mental Health Services Board. The terms are three-year terms set to expire on March 31, 2025.
Applications are due on March 2, 2022, and interviews will be held at the Government Oversight Committee on March 10, 2022, at 3 PM. A final decision is expected to be made at the March 17th Full Board meeting.
The CMH Board is charged with providing a comprehensive array of mental health services appropriate to the needs of the primary consumers located within its service area, regardless of the ability to pay for the service. By statute, the members are representative of providers of mental health services, recipients or consumers of mental health services, agencies and occupations having a working involvement with mental health services and the general public.
